Denise Johnson

Denise R. Johnson, a Native Washingtonian.  She is a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Gamma Chapter.  She is the 2023-2024 past Financial Secretary and Finance Co-Chair for Gamma Chapter in the Eastern Region.

 

Denise actively serves on Gamma Chapter’s Finance Committee, Sunshine Committee, Nomination Committee, and Elections Committee. Regionally, Denise serves on the Audit, Award, and Nominations Committees.  She also serves on the 2025 National Convention Planning Committee.

 

After receiving a BBA in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia, Denise's career has been in Auditing.

 

Denise is also a Board Member at Jones-Haywood Ballet School, United Black Fund.

 

As a Member of Lola Mercedes Parker Foundation Denise will continue to do the work of IOTA and seek to promote initiatives that support African-American women, youth and families in education, financial stability and generational wealth.
