A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

On a mission

Dear Friends,

The Black Community faces challenges of access to education and opportunities for growth in employment and entrepreneurship. The Lola Mercedes Parker Foundation for the Economic Empowerment of Business and Professional Women (LMPF) aims to create a positive impact by working to affect economic prosperity across Black Communities.

The LMPF is invested in overcoming the societal and cultural barriers to success that they face, and to the successful recognition of their potential. Furthermore, we seek to transform that potential into dynamic energy that ensures a thriving community.

The LMPF provides relevant programs to meet the needs of the Black community.

Each program is supported by business alliances that uphold our ideals and build bridges for wider connections. Our webinars and symposiums are informative, insightful, and engaging. As we move forward, we seek to further engage the community and our partners to create effective, sustainable programs.

Critical Components

We believe that leadership, entrepreneurship, education, and technology are just four of the critical components to the success of our communities. We believe that these components are the building blocks of our key objectives which can be achieved through strategic partnerships with public and private entities, as well as local community businesses. The LMPF is committed to action and to be a beacon in the communities we serve.
