ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

More than fundraising.

It's a launch pad.

The Year of the Woman Influencer Campaign is a business-centered, 8-week experience that does two things at once. It raises critical funds for Lola Mercedes Parker Foundation, and it puts women in  front of an audience that needs to know them.

Each week, participants take on a new social media challenge, short-form video, brand storytelling, live engagement, community activation, and more. They earn points. They build a following. They learn by doing.

Supporters follow along, donate, and cheer. At the end of 8 weeks, the participant who raises the most funds and earns the most points is crowned the Year of the Woman Champion.

How It Works

Apply and Commit

Participants are selected and commit to the full 8-week campaign.

Weekly Challenges

 

Each week brings a new social media challenge designed to build real visibility and marketing skills.

Earn Points and Raise Funds

 

Points are awarded for challenge completion, audience engagement, and funds raised on behalf of the

foundation

Crown the Champion

 

The participant with the highest points and contributions wins the title of Year of the Woman Champion.
